Taralee Orchards is a Demeter certified biodynamic stone fruit orchard located in the Wirrabara Forest area of the Southern Flinders Ranges.
We produce a range of stone fruits including apricots, peaches, nectarines and plums, as well as quinces and a small amount of apples, pears and figs.
Fresh fruit is available in season, and we produce a range of sulphur-free dried fruit and jams. We also have a vegetable garden producing mainly summer vegetables, as well as beehives, free range poultry and a small beef cattle herd.
Our produce is available direct through our farmgate as well as at several local producers markets, such as Wirrabara, Port Pirie and Port Germein, and at local Shows and events. The farmgate is generally open seven days, however please phone ahead to confirm.
Our aim is to produce a range of good quality organic produce, and to market it ourselves, primarily within our region.
